I am interested in purchasing a package of ten sessions. Are these sessions scheduled around the time frame of the person buying the sessions?

    Thank you.
Hello Jane, and thank you for your inquiry. It would depend on what type of package. The tower and mat classes are offered at specific times, however we work hard to accommodate most schedules and a private schedule has much more flexibility. Please call the office at 801-486-2660 and we can discuss it. Happy Holidays!

I have taken pilates at another studio but because it is located quite a distance from my house I would like to go somewhere a bit closer. In order to work on the reformer do I have to take introductory classes before I can start?

Hello Wendy: It would depend on the type of training you have received and the length of time on the reformer, however if you are planning on taking private lessons, we can assess all of this at your first session. I look forward to having you at the studio.

If anyone would be willing to do duet sessions with me I’d like to know. None of my friends are interested and I can’t afford private lessons right now.

    Hey Claudia,

Nice to find you on here! I have heard about all the benefits of pilates but I don’t see a lot of chubby people doing it/trying it. So – being a chubby woman – I want to try it but not sure its for me. Does it require a certain level of athleticism to begin with?

Hi Evie… Pilates is great for most body types. Call the studio and we can set up a time to meet. We have great introductory specials going on right now, so it’s the perfect time to check out Pilates for you!

I am 53 years old and have been inactive since 1988. I am interested in becoming involved in competitive road and bicycle racing but my strength and flexibility is poor. I have started strength training with weights and spinning classes but my core strength and flexibility needs a major overhaul. What do you suggest?

Mike.. Pilates is great for developing strength and flexibility. Give me a call at the studio and we can arrange an introductory lesson. Congratulations on being proactive with wellness and fitness.
