New Website Design

    I have been taking Pilates with Claudia for over 6 years. Pilates has helped me stay strong and active. As a ski instructor, I have become more balanced and using my core strength has kept me injury free.

    It has been a great week at the studio, working with new clients is always exciting, what I have been concentrating on is the breathing. It makes such a difference when clients are breathing as they move, instead of moving and holding their breath. There has to be a flow of energy.Pilates emphasizes the importance of keeping the blood-stream pure. Joseph H.Pilates determined that the best breathing technique for getting out the bad and taking in the good are full forced exhalations followed by a complete inflation of the lungs using a deep inhalation.
    You will eventually be able to coordinate your breathing patterns with each movement of an exercise. As a general rule, you will breath in to prepare for a movement and breath out as you execute it.
    I would say be kind to yourself and have fun as you are learning specially if you are new to Pilates. Remeber consistency is the key for change.

    Special session with Claudia yesterday! I complained of various aches and pains Monday and today she started me off with some wonderful long body stretches. It seemed like the rest of my workout was effortless.
    That is the beauty of private sessions, you get workouts tailor-made for YOU!

    I finally got it!! The short spine massage on the reformer looks easy, but it is not when done correctly. Practicing the Airplane on the cadillac helped me understand how my bottom needs to lift first. Thanks Claudia for not letting me cheat.

    I’ve done 11 sessions now with Claudia and can tell a huge difference in my form and the strength of my powerhouse getting stronger and stronger. It makes all the difference having one on one training with Claudia constantly making sure you are aligned and your form is correct. Thank you Claudia for your focused attention and expertise!!
